About Crystal Falls

Unnamed and not even marked on maps, Crystal Falls is a decent 10-15 metre falls on Crystal Creek in the Weld Valley. No track goes near the falls, so reaching them requires an extremely tough off track bushbash. There is no single route that should be taken, but the best starting point is on a spur road off South Weld Road that gets you closest to the falls. From this point you are entirely relying on your ability to navigate off track through thick rainforest, cutting grass and some extremely steep terrain around the falls.

Crystal Falls can also be combined with the far more impressive Isabella Falls for a full day of off track exploring though once you reach Crystal Falls you're only a third of the way there so there is still a lot of effort still to go.
