Shower Cave Falls is the first waterfall you reach along the Split Rock Track (although after heavy rain, another waterfall can sometimes be seen earlier in your hike!). Shower Cave Falls is a lovely medium sized waterfall that plunges over a rock ledge. There is a cave area behind the waterfall as well.

A good vantage of Shower Cave Falls is somewhat difficult due to fallen trees and debris near the base of the waterfall. However, it is a pretty place, with moss covered logs, rocks and fern trees presenting a beautiful rainforest surrounding the falls.

If you're visiting Shower Cave Falls, you should also visit Split Rock Falls (also known as Cleft Rock Falls) which is only 100 metres away up stream. Continue along the track to reach it.
