About Pearl Creek Falls

Pearl Creek Falls is a small and pretty waterfall that has an excellent swimming hole directly in front of it.  It is located just 4 kilometres from the centre of Queenstown on the Lyell Highway on the section of road that leads to Strahan.

Though there is a track that leads to the waterfall, there is no signage or car parking available.  You will need to do your homework to find where the track starts. However, once found, the wide track leads you easily and directly to the waterfall.  The last section of the track appears to be going past the waterfall, but loops back around as it safely descends a small hill.

It is one of the easiest waterfalls to walk to, and in summer is not a bad place to swim!
