About Lady Barron Falls

Lady Barron Falls is the 3rd waterfall on a Loop Walk through Mt Field National Park, and is about a 40 - 60 minute casual walk from Horseshoe Falls. Signage along the track very clearly guides you to the Lady Barron Falls, and there you will be greeted with an excellent viewing platform.

The walk between Horseshoe Falls and Lady Barron Falls is extra special for having a Tall Trees walk as a side adventure, where everyone is shown how to calculate the height of one of the tallest trees in the park.

Lady Barron Falls is relatively small with a height of approximately 8 metres, with small cascades near the base of the waterfall. Situated on Lady Barron Creek it is a scenic waterfall to visit when the creek has good flow of water.

From Lady Barron Falls you walk towards the information centre where you will be required to negotiate a staircase with hundreds of steps. We recommend visitors to Mt. Field National Park consider doing the loops walk in reverse making Lady Barron Falls the first waterfall you visit. For many people walking down staircases is easier and makes the loop walk more enjoyable.
