About Gentle Annie Falls

Despite its name, Gentle Annie Falls is not really a proper waterfall but rather a hand-cut channel in a sandstone outcrop that was once used to funnel water into the Waterworks Reserve. The "falls" are now no longer used for this purpose since the water was redirected in the 1940's, and are now always dry.
