About Floras Falls

Tall, multi-tiered waterfall that for much of the year is dry or trickling. Access is extremely difficult and dangerous and should only be attempted by experienced bushwalkers with appropriate safety and navigational equipment.

Until June 2018 the falls had been marked on maps as Silver Falls, but have recently had their historic name of Floras Falls restored on online Listmaps. Old photos in the Tasmanian Library database show the falls captioned as Glaslyn Falls, which appears to be another historic name for them.
