About Meetus Falls

Meetus Falls is a high waterfall situated on Cygnet River, near Lake Leake, Tasmania. As part of the Meetus Falls Forest Reserve, the short walk commences from the picnic grounds which boasts a barbecue area, and toilet facilities.  From the carpark area, the track will take you downhill to a viewing platform where you can view Meetus Falls from across the gorge.  From the viewing platform, you are showcased with panoramic views of the gorge and valley below.

From the main track that leads to the viewing platform, another track can be taken that leads you to Cygnet River, and to the base of the cascades that make up part of Meetus Falls.

How to get to Meetus Falls

From the Midlands Highway (A1), drive to Campbell Town, and turn east onto the Lake Leake Highway (B34). Continue for approximately 35 km's, driving past the Lake Leake turnoff. Turn left onto McKays Rd (an unsealed road), and continue north for about 11km's. Meetus Falls is well signed.
