About Lomatia Falls

In the remote south west on the slopes of Mt Norold, Lomatia Falls is a very tall two tiered waterfall, based on topo maps dropping 110 metres in total over a 30 metre upper and 80 metre lower falls making it one of the tallest in Tasmania. Access is very difficult and requiring a multi-day trek, though the slopes of Mt Norold themselves are generally relatively easy for off track navigation with buttongrass plains and little scrub.
