About Bowl Falls

Bowl Falls is an unofficially named waterfall on Ice Brook, an unusual and impressive waterfall that is unfortunately extremely difficult to reach. The falls plunge 15 metres over a two tiered drop, with a bowl-shaped infinity pool in the middle of the waterfall (only properly visible from above). Additionally, the western bank of the creek has a massive overhanging cave from where you can view the falls essentially undercover.

Access is unfortunately difficult and dangerous, however, with a very steep (near vertical in places) off track scramble to the base. A trip here should only be attempted by experienced hikers.
