About Abscida Falls

Abscida Falls are located on the eastern side of the Norald Range. We are yet to visit this waterfall but topographic maps and the limited photos available online indicate that it is likely to be among the tallest in Tasmania with a single plunge of at least 100 metres and a total drop of 200 metres including its upper tiers.

Access is only by a long multi day hike up Mt Norold, entirely off track though reportedly with much of the walking on relatively open buttongrass terrain.
