About Hogg Creek Falls

** Hogg Creek Falls is no longer accessible to the public. **

Hogg Creek Falls is a small seasonal waterfall situated near Lake Paloona, and Lower Barington, in an area that was once looked after by the Tasmanian Arboretum Incorporated.   The area was known as the Hogg Creek Botanical Annexe, but in recent years, has been neglected.

The waterfall itself is around 5 metres in height, and is picturesque when a good flow of water is available. However, due to being a seasonal waterfall, the best times to view Hogg Creek Falls is in the winter / early spring months (July - October).
