About Dynamo Falls

Dynamo Falls is a small waterfall siutated on private property, on Gaunts Road, within 1 km of the Castra Circuit that consists of Silver Falls, Castra Falls and Step Falls. The waterfall was used as part of a hudro-electric scheme, with the surrounding buildings constructed in 1936. The scheme wasn't in use for long, and by 1946, engineers deemed the scheme unviable.

The waterfall is just off the road, but permission will need to be sought from Button's Cottage (also known as Gaunts Homestead) to access the waterfall.
